2019 Spiritual Formation Program*
*Currently an outreach program of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral
We will be starting our eight-month Spiritual Formation Program on October 19th. at Trinity Episcopal Catherdral 200 Island Ave, Reno, NV.
9:30am-12: 30 pm with snacks provided. Parking by the church is limited. Free Parking at the county lot nearby. Check the Catherdral website for parking instructions.
People who commit to this program are committing to:
- Attending the monthly meetings (as much as humanly possible)
- Being open to trying new spiritual practices
- Reading the two assigned books and discussing them in their small groups: An Altar in the Word: A Geography of Faith, Candlelight: The Art of Spiritual Direction
- Paying $40 a month, or $80 every two months, or a one-time total payment of $360.
This does not include the cost of two books.
Our Hopes for this program:
- To see you grow deeper in your spiritual life and relationship with God
- To help you meet and bond with other like-minded people on this spiritual quest
- To help you discern if you might want to apply for our two-year Spiritual Direction Training program that begins October 2020-2021 (Applications due September 2020).
Instructors:
Jacci Turner is a certified Spiritual Director as well as a certified Spiritual Direction Supervisor. She is a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist. She is the Program Director of CFDM Nevada. *We hope to bring in special guests to help teach the classes and to give you different experiences of spiritual practices.
Joan Peyser is a certified Spiritual Director and the Administrative Director of CFDM Nevada. She will be on hand to offer wisdom and administer the program.
