2022 Spiritual Discernment

We invite you to join our six-month Spiritual Discernment Program online July 2nd at 10am PST. 

If you are trying to make a big decision about your life: Retirement, Adoption, Job Change, Graduate School, Training to be a Spiritual Director… This program will help.

*This program, or one like it, is required for taking the CFDM Spiritual Director Training Program.

People who commit to this program are committing to:

1. Attending two group zoom meetings.
2. Meeting at least once one-one with the program director, Jacci Turner
3. Meeting monthly with a CFDM trained (or other trained) spiritual director
4. Reading the two assigned books and discussing them in our online small groups:  Parker Palmer: Let Your Life Speak: Listening for the Voice of Vocation, and Henry Nowen: Discernment: Reading the Signs of Daily Life  
5. Attending two of the Saturday Going Deeper trainings of your choice. You will receive a list of these trainings after we begin the program.
6. One spiritual retreat of at least two hours and/or one labyrinth prayer walk.
7. Cost of Class is $99.00* and limited to twenty participants.

*This does not include the cost of two books or of spiritual direction.

1. To see you grow deeper in your spiritual life and relationship with God
2. To help you meet and bond with other like-minded people on this spiritual discernment quest
3. To help you discern if you might want to apply for our two-year Spiritual Direction Training program that begins February 2023-2024 (Applications due January 2023).

Instructors:

Jacci Turner is a certified Spiritual Director as well as a certified Spiritual Direction Supervisor. She is a retired Marriage and Family Therapist. She is the Program Director and President of CFDM Nevada. 

Ken Larson is a certified Spiritual Director and the on the board of CFDM Nevada. He runs our Going Deeper Program out of Southern Nevada
