*Certified Spiritual Directors/Companions attend programs at Seminaries or Training Centers to receive certificates in Spiritual Direction/Companionship. These programs can last one to three years. Not all of these companions and supervisors have been trained by CFDM but all are certified unless marked as a student. You should interview several companions before making a decision at which time after two or three meetings, either one of you can change your mind if you find you are not a good fit.
